The Collage Tee

THE CONCEPT

A Robert Rauschenberg-inspired collage of Black Mountain College that captures Black Mountain College's spirit. The school was an incubator for interdisciplinary innovation and creative freedom, making it a fitting homage to Rauschenberg himself, who studied there and absorbed its avant-garde energy, forever influencing his boundary-pushing art.

Images combined to create a vibrant, layered tapestry of eclectic visuals, a fusion of fragmented moments. Reflecting Rauschenberg’s signature "Combines," the collage blends photos of the college’s iconic figures, like Josef and Anni Albers, alongside candid scenes of the experimental campus life: students in mid-performance, abstract works in progress, and spontaneous moments of intellectual exchange.
