With the front of the garment, we take the Virgin Annunciate, painted by Renaissance master Antonella Da Messina. Virgin Annunciate is often described as a moment of revelation. While creating this piece, we had our own revelation that Art is indeed the communication beyond language. It transcends what we can say with words alone.
The ellipse is a shape with its own special place in art history. It was instrumental to the developments of compositional perspective, and during the Renaissance, artists and architects, including Michelangelo, Bernini, and Specchi, began to actively incorporate the form into their urban designs.
On the back, we mirror the same ellipse and intersect with our Communication Beyond Language typography.
