THE CONCEPT

This modernist hoodie features an unidentified woman wearing an Oskar Schlemmer stage mask, seated in the iconic Marcel Breuer Wassily Chair, photographed c. 1926.

True to the collaborative nature of The Bauhaus, Schlemmer and Breuer’s works come together here to make an interesting happening when unexpected elements combine.

The size and position of the image gives the garment a gallery-like effect, contextualizing the photograph amidst a plane of dark space, highlighting the importance of the image.

Minimal blue text interjects the image and negative space to call out the names of these important creative minds.
